DETERIOR

After some experimenting with the site I've decided to start using Bandcamp for managing my music downloads. I'm currently in the process of uploading stuff. Antimonument , Lifting of the Veil , and Cleanse are all available as name-your-own-price downloads in a variety of formats (including FLAC). The new stuff will be going up there as well. You can check it all out at http://deterior.bandcamp.com/ .

Lifting of the Veil [EP] by Deterior I am very pleased to release my newest EP, entitled Lifting of the Veil . A bit more experimental, a bit more noisy/drony. label: GarageMonkey Productions (GMP-005) format: digital file released: 15 July 2008 time: 19:26 recorded and engineered by Andrew Arnold in Basement Studio during June 2008 mixed and mastered by Andrew Arnold in Basement Studio during July 2008 cover art: Katsushika Hokusai credits this record was entirely produced by deterior; however various sound samples used were kindly borrowed from the following: freesound users digifishmusic, jackwheatley, ERH, oyenstikker, nicstage, Pooleside, the_semen_incident. all content remains copyright © the original owner.

yes. stuff is done. Tuesday, July 15.

next week (the 15th), at the earliest. sorry, but I've been really busy with work and stuff. summer is a bitch. in other news, I'm also working on a new album when I find scraps of time. actually I have a song already. you will like it.

Monday, June 30. as previously stated, there are three mixes of "Spire", one for "Antimonument", and one for "Sunrise and Delusion". details will follow at the release. p.s.: Lifting of the Veil is coming out (I hope) the week after; I still gotta get the bass ironed out but that shouldn't take long.

okay, so I figured I'd reveal a little info (what's been confirmed so far) about the new releases. Spire still isn't finished. I hope to get one more remix from a friend but haven't heard back from him with it at this point. consequently, I've not really been working on the other mixes so much. but I still really hope to put this out soon. and so, the mysterious new ep... I am wrapping up recording bass (and vocals!) for it and doing a load of mixing. the ep is called Lifting of the Veil and will have 3 tracks, running around 17-18 minutes or so. so far it's turning out to be a lot more experimental than my previous stuff; I think it's really great though... but we'll see, I guess. it'll probably be out in July.

already I have the beginnings of a new release. there is a title, a cover, and quite a bit of music waiting for more work to be put into it. spire remixes are on their way. soon...
